Clinician. Educator. Advocate.
Welcome to my website! I’m Marie-Josée (MJ) and I have been a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist for 25 years. My interest in pelvic health started a few years after graduation and I never looked back!
I opened the first pelvic health physiotherapy clinic in Northern Ontario and I am grateful to my patients, for their courage and trust in allowing me to be part of their health team. My patients have been my greatest teachers and I am a better clinician because of them. I am humbled daily by their stories, struggles, courage and successes. It is a privilege to be their physiotherapist.
As a pelvic health advocate, I believe in giving back and sharing knowledge through public speaking and as an instructor with Pelvic Health Solutions. My artistic side has led me to draw and develop a 3D pelvic floor model used worldwide as an educational tool which you can find at www.totalpelvichealth.ca
my Mission
To provide hope and empower my patients to gain the tools needed to manage their pelvic conditions and feel well again. I am passionate about giving back to my community. I teach and mentor health professionals in the field of pelvic health. I strive to keep myself up to date on all the newest research in pelvic health and I am always seeking knowledge in this exciting field.
